I Can't Believe This Is Happening Again... Or Is It?

I’m sorry. I can’t. And I don’t think we’ll have to.

It’s just about summer in New York, which means Fleet Week is here, Mayor Adams is slashing funding for the New York Public Library and Carrie Bradshaw and co. are hitting the streets of Manhattan where filming is underway for And Just Like That… Season 3. What lies ahead? Let’s start with what doesn’t: no Che Diaz and no Dr. Nya Wallace. This clears space for the core three (yay!) plus Lisa Todd Wexley and Seema Patel. Of course there’s also (deep breath) Anthony and his boyfriend Giuseppe, then the husbands, Herbert and Harry, and of course the kids — Brady, Lily, Rock, Henry, Gabrielle and Hebrert Jr. — plus, of course, Jackie and Lisette and Ravi, maybe Steve and maybe definitely Aidan. (In case you forgot, I ranked all 85 named characters on the show’s second season. You’re welcome. I’m sorry.)

Earlier this week, a video and photos emerged online of John Corbett (still with his heinous Barbour jacket, which feels like Michael Patrick King trolling us) standing with Sarah Jessica Parker outside of the Gramercy Park apartment that Carrie purchased at the end of Season 2.

This “leaked” footage would imply that if Carrie and Aidan are not outright back together (are we doing a five-year time leap?), Aidan will still be a part of Carrie’s life in some form. Fans were appropriately spooked, some even calling for him to off himself. Among my favorites was this comment: “Like….. how are you back there at your enormous age?” But here’s the thing: I simply don’t believe it. Here’s why.
