Sure, we could gab about Alex losing his virginity to Henry, the soft moans, the pendulum of the key necklace moving back and forth with every thrust and a subset of heterosexual women who are apparently learning that gay men have missionary sex. But can we instead shift our gaze to another, more hedonistic sex scene earlier in the film? One that I personally feel is not getting enough coverage? Yes, we’re talking about the polo match, which was brilliantly underscored by feverish bagpipes that likened a Season 3 Sex and the City scene in which Charlotte fantasizes about fucking her first mother-in-law Bunny MacDougal’s gardener (it always comes back to SATC, don’t it?).
