A recent People Magazine tweet: “Tom Brady Calls Out ‘Mediocrity’ in NFL Right Now: ‘I Don’t See the Excellence that I Saw in the Past.’” My version of this tweet would be me calling out the mediocrity of Season 2 of Big Little Lies, a show that fell from its prestige glory after succumbing to the pressure of a “more, more, more” culture. Why are we rehashing, and on Thanksgiving no less? Well, because more, more, more is on the way — so says the AMC Lady.
"I loved Big Little Lies," Nicole Kidman said while speaking onstage at, wait for it, a Ladies Professional Golf Association Q&A event during the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Florida. “It sort of came along at a time in my life when I had my children and I was thinking I was going to retire. And then this situation came along, where Reese Witherspoon and I were able to produce that show and create that show. And then all of you watched it and made it a massive success. And we will be bringing you a third one, just FYI."
“Just FYI.”
There is, of course, precedent here.
